It's been a while since I played these, but I was pretty nitty, almost like an open league style, just a little looser. You need to win your races to have any hope of winning these, and you will encounter a lot of bad beats simply because there are so many bad players calling and raising with ATC. Good luck!!

I play them very tight in the first few levels. About half of the players are gone before you the blinds get high enough to force you to open up. When you get down to the final two tables everyone is very short, some will sit on five big blinds to try to move up, some will play very aggressive. I'm sure that if you can beat the 90 man turbos you can beat these. I would like to see ahar010 do a session on these.

The first 3-4 levels in those... if it's not a cat 1 hand, don't play it. Playing AJs to a shove from button is WAAAAYYY too loose in them early.

got it wrong JW he was on the button, I fold that early if it is shoved before me, if I am on the button and it is unopened I probably shove

I decided to play one of these while listening to the langolier this afternoon and took third, my best finish in about twenty attempts... the bad news is that I had the chip lead three handed.

Agree with others, in these and freerolls and so on I play super tight until the blinds are up to at least 50/100

in the first few hands any shove in early or mid position can easily be called by 3 or 4 others, which isn't great odds.

Wait for the majority of the donks to knock reach other out then start playing normal poker, still plenty of weak players to pay you off when you hit so it's still possible to build your stack quickly.

If nobody opened, that's different, then I'd std raise and see what happens. With someone shoving already, it's gotta be a muck.
