          Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

          Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

          Best of Luck!

Here is one of the hands that I played right now. In the button with a K and 10 suited. Some people called, I raise 3BB. Two people call. The flop is revealed and I hit a straight Ace high. Both players limped, I raise pot amount, trying to force the players to fold. One call, the other one fold. Even after the call-raise, I suspect that the guy called expecting some out card at the river. The river card is a 8. I go all in trying to double my stack since my hand is a pretty strong one. He folds and I take the pot umbup:

                    Hi ggkhn.

I think your hand is plenty strong enough to raise from the button, even with a limper in the pot. The normal raise sizing I would recommend is 3x the Big Blind + 1BB for every limper, so I would raise to $0.08 rather than $0.06, but this isn't a big error.

Now you flop the nuts, why do you want your opponents to fold? You want them to keep putting in money with hands that are guaranteed to be worse than your hand. Of course the villains might make a flush or a full house on later streets and you want to make your opponents pay too large a price to see these cards.

I think your flop bet sizing is fine, as there is a high chance that at least one of your opponents has a strong hand here, either a strong draw or maybe even two pair or a set. You want people to call with these hands, not fold!

For the same reason, you shouldn't move all in - you're making it very hard for your opponent to call. I'd bet about $0.40, so he might continue to call with his draws or worse hands, when calling is actually a mistake because he's getting the incorrect pot odds.

Remember when you bet, you either want people to call with worse hands, or fold better hands. You don't want to make people fold worse hands than you have!
