          Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

          Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

          Best of Luck!

Here is a hand I'd like to discuss. On preflop I was just trying to steel, because he definitly had something like KJ or small pocket pair. On the flop I had nuts flush, so the task was to collect as much cash as possible. I tried to show that flop is blank for me and im just waiting for A or K giving him a chance to steel. On turn another 7 comes out, and gives him a chance to steel. The question here is what should I do on the reaver in that situation. Best regards, ImAmazonca

Also I would be very greatful if you could explain the details of the following hand. I am not sure what to do on the flop with QQ and K on the board against 2 opponents. Did I play it right? What could have happend in other scenarios. Should I usually call on preflop with QQ against raise + call. One of the points to mention is that those opponents were pretty loose, so I have figured out that I am higher than them. Thanks in advance, ImAmazonca

Hi, Hand Analysis On this stack depth we do not have that much room to maneuver with a mediocre ace X holding, this isn't really a hand that we want to try and isolate a limper with pre-flop, bear in mind that even though a limping range is perceived as a weak range of holdings... our overall equity wont be that much versus even the widest range. Post flop, the strongest play on the flop or any given street is to bet, checking to induce the villains range to bet on this board texture could prove to lose us alot of value if another diamond peels off. A good rule of thumb when electing to make a be post flop is to make a sizing of 2/3 to 3/4 pot size, this will help to ensure a pot is built and vlaue is made from inferior holdings. Hand Analysis Usually whenever we are facing a 4x the big blind raise and a call, the villains range can really be narrowed down to AQ AK AJs AA KK QQ JJ (possibly wider if we had reads that they are loose), anytime players deviate from the standard sizing it is a good indicator of the strength of their hand.... without specific reads of the villains tendencies I'd still re-raise preflop for pure value at worst we're losing to AA KK which is very few combos and there are many hands that they can defend with that we have crushed. The stack to pot ratio is set up for an all in continuation bet, checking because there is one over card could potentially lose us value if the villain was on a marginal inside straight draw + 1 over card, top pair will account for such a small portion of this villains overall range if they have been defending 3bets frequently... however if they have been tight still the best course of action is to stack off. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee
