Well done KenzieParker! You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player. Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup: Team PokerSchoolOnline

            Done.
            Passed the cash game quiz.

Although I don't understand why, after I did pass it, I can not try it again. I still didn't do 100%. And what if I wanna come back to it in few months to see if I remember everything?
            Just my thoughts..

            Anyway waiting for more tasks..

            Best Regards

Great job KenzieParker! You passed the Cash Game Quiz and so you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundamentals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus. Step Three Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and, using the Hand Replayer, post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about. Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer. NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way. Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyse it for you so please post an interesting hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents? flophitter umbup: Team PokerSchoolOnline

Right, so I've got a hand that I have some questions about. I don't really have much information about the players that I was in the pot with. Haven't been playing that table for to long. Anyway my first question is would you do anything differently? Obviously on the flop with a flash draw I had to bet, but than on turn I was actually hoping he'd make that flush, so I decided to let him think I didn't really have it or give him a chance to bluff me if he was drawing or anything. Only the river I wasn't to sure. I made a small value bet so he wouldn't be to scared to call if he had anything or raise me if he thought he had a better hand, but maybe I could have checked again, though I was afraid he wouldn't go for the same trick again. And a second question, what do you think ha could have had there? At first I thought maybe A with small kicker, but there is no chance he'd fold that unless he was a very good player and put me on a flush or something, but still anyone would have called my small bet on the river with A. So than I thought maybe he was drawing to something. Or maybe he was just one of these fishes that call and raise you to the river with any two hole cards, but I doubt the last one. Thanks in advance for your input.

Hi KenzieParker, Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you. He will do this normally within the next 24 hours (but can sometimes take a little longer, especially at weekends) and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step. flophitter umbup: Team PokerSchoolOnline

Hi KenzieParker! This was an interesting hand. Preflop, calling is fine, but note that you are out of position. The open limping range of the villain is primarily weaker hands and pocket pairs. You get a good flop. With three of the aces accounted for, it is less likely that the villain has an ace. Since he didn't raise preflop, it is less likely that he has an ace with a better kicker. Betting as you did does protect against flush draws, but this board will seem pretty scary for the opponents. Had someone raised preflop, we could often expect them to cbet this flop allowing us to check-raise. Since it was a limped pot, I prefer leading out as you did both for value and protection. However, since this flop won't help many hands, I would bet slightly less, 4cor 5c. The smaller bet will increase the chance of getting called. The turn is a great card for you as you noted. If they made a flush, you have a good chance to win their stack. If they missed, then they normally won't put much more money in the pot. This is a good spot to check-raise as you did, but like on the flop, a smaller bet would have been better. A standard raise size will be 2.1x -2.5x the original bet, not 3x as you made it. On the river, I would have bet more for value. A half pot bet would be standard, perhaps even 70% of the pot. Any hand strong enough to call a bet will call a bet of this size. Since the villain folded, I would expect him to have hands like QJ chasing a straight, and perhaps a pocket pair he couldn't fold and maybe something like KQ, KJ with a spade kicker. Often when the board pairs, players will not believe that you have flopped trips. You played the hand well, but keep working on your betsizingumbup: Roland GTX

To bad there were more sit outs on the table, than active players though. Could be way more interesting.
