          Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

          Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

          Best of Luck!

                Great Job!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and so you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundamentals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

                Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and, using the Hand Replayer, post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyse it for you so please post an interesting hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

                        Hi,

First of all let me say that I think no matter what you did this hand, you were likely to lose all your chips. It's not really a bad beat, I'd call it a cooler. However I think there were some things you could have done better in the hand.

I like your preflop raise and sizing. It's a bit on the big size, but you are going to be out of position against one of the limpers, so I don't mind erring on the big side. However the only problem is that you are short-stacked (i.e. less than 100BB deep). Therefore the bigger you make your raises, the more easily you are going to commit yourself to going all in.

I think you should definitely CBet this flop. You were the preflop raiser and this flop is very safe for your hand, you have top pair top kicker and you are likely to get called by worse Kings, some pocket pairs between 77-QQ and some random hands that don't believe you. I would make it between $0.20-$0.30.

The problem with check/raising like you did is that you are bloating the pot with a strong hand, but a hand that's far from being the nuts. The other problem with check/raising is that if V9 hadn't put in his silly minbet, you would have just given your opponents a free card to outdraw you. Your hand isn't strong enough to allow people to see free cards.

I think once you've check/raised, you are committed to the pot so you should call, but it's just guesswork as to whether you're behind or not.
