          Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

          Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.
Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

I was in MP,with QQ and I raised for $0,05. The UTG calls me . The came with K K 4, he checks and I bet $0,06 . He calls again . I'm confused now,so in the turn cames a J ,he checks and I check behind. In the river cames a 5 . HE checks and a I bet $0,11 . He calls me again ! He shows me a 99 and I won ... So in this hand I went very aggressive , but calculator at the same time. I scared with the K , but I GUESS I played the right way ..

Hi skywalker, sorry for the delay in responding.

Preflop, I agree with your decision to range such a strong hand from middle position with a limper in the pot. The standard size for a raise should be 3x the BB, plus 1BB for every limper. Therefore in this case, your raise should be to $0.06 + $0.02 = $0.08. This gets you good value for your strong hands while also not allowing people the right price to call with inferior hands that might draw out on you.

On the flop, it is very likely that you still have the best hand. It is unlikely that your opponent holds a K simply because there are only two kings left in the deck. The only other hands that beat you are 44 or AA, both of which are also unlikely, especially AA. Therefore you should bet for value. I think your sizing could be a bit bigger, as people will call with a much wider range of hands than normal because they don't believe you will have a K. I would make it something like $0.09.

The same reasoning applies for the turn, I would bet something like 2/3 - 3/4 pot, something like $0.17-$0.20.

On the river, the 5 doesn't change much unless he has spiked a flush. The best poker players have a weapon called the "bet/fold" in their arsenal. This means when you have likely have the best hand and will likely get called by worse, you should bet for value but fold to a raise. In this situation, whatever villain called the flop or turn with, he would likely have called the river with. If he was slowplaying a K or just hit a flush, he'll raise for value and you can fold as villains almost never take this line with a bluff.

Beating the microstakes is all about extracting value from your opponents when you likely have the best hand. Bet big and bet often!
