          Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

          Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

          Best of Luck!

Bad Beat with AKo royalraise85 could you explain what I did wrong in this hand. I had AKo, played it aggressively, but my opponent was calling it with a low pair of 9. What I supposed to do in this situation to win the pot?

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

                    Hi Robert!

Being aggressive is a great trait to have as a poker player, but the best players know when to apply pressure and against which type of opponents.

Your preflop play is great, you have a strong hand and you raise to the recommended 3x the Big Blind.

You miss the flop, which will happen about 2/3 of the time. The flop texture is quite coordinated and there are straight and flush draws available. If you are going to CBet this flop to try and represent an overpair, I would bet bigger than you did, something like $0.14 to give your opponents a bad price to call.

However I think the best play is simply to check back and give up unless you improve. Generally players at the lowest stakes are not really thinking about what you have too much, they are more concerned about their own cards. They aren't going to fold a pair, definitely not top pair and they aren't going to fold any of their draws. So by betting, you're just building up a pot where you likely don't have the best hand.

For the same reasons I would just check and give up on the turn and river.

The way to beat these micro stake games is to make big hands and bet for value because as you see, players at these stakes don't like to fold! Bluffing is rarely going to work.
