Hello DrWhoWho82, You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job! NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future First Step Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.
After watching this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about. Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.
Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course. So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus. 1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video 2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer 3) Pass the Poker Basic course. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:

I called all in because the guy went all in last hand with T6 off suit. I thought my 2 big cards of the same suit would be ahead.

Hi DrWhoWho82, I like your preflop play and bet sizing umbup: I would however elect to fold after we face a 3bet and a 4bet all in. Our hand against such sort of action will usually be dominated. A fold should be in order. 72s lol. I just noticed the read you had on the opponent. In that case, good call. Unlucky outcome!

Brilliant! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:

How to get value with a monster? The other player had been pretty tight, but it was a small sample. How should I play this to get more money?

3 reasons to make a big bet:

                    1. Put pressure on an opponent
                    2. Bluff people off decent hands
                    3. To protect against strong draws

Wow nice flop! Savour it as you might not flop this well for years.

This is a situation where you might win a huge pot, but only if your opponent also has something like a flush or if he ends up making a full house.

I think checking the flop is fine, you give the villain a chance to make a bluff. If you had led out, he would have likely folded all his non-heart air that he might have bluffed once with. Checking also lets him catch up.

I think you should lead out the turn though. You want to build a pot to try and win his stack. If he's not got anything, he's not going to put much more money in anyway. If he has picked something up or has a draw, he will likely call or raise.

As played I would raise his bet, again to try and build up a pot and enable you to bet bigger on the river.

I like leading the river, but I would make it big, as villain could easily have trip tens or even a full house. You could bet something like $0.20, hoping for a raise or even bet something like $0.45, particularly if you think your opponent likes to call a lot. However I think the way you played is also OK.

Hi DrWhoWho82 I'm sorry to trouble you but I wonder if you would mind taking the Cash quiz again please? I'm not sure what's happened but although I'm sure I saw your pass in our system it's not showing there now, and so bonuses cannot be awarded. flophitter umbup:
