BankRoll Builder progress Hello, I watched the video and also passed the Assessment Quiz. Here bellow, I am posting a hand, where I have a question - should I raised more than the 2 after the flop? I didnt feel like I'm in lead with those 2 pairs, that's why I just called the previous guy.
Sorry, this hand was deleted by its owner
        Thank you

Hi! I see that you paid the big blind out of turn here. This seems small, but will be a big drain on your bankroll over time! I strongly suggest checking the "Wait for the Big Blind" box. Then use the time to start building reads on the opponents. J3o is a rather weak hand. Yes, you have two pair on the flop, but this is not as strong as when you have two pair using both your hole cards. Anyone holding a K, a pocket pair, or a 3 with a better kicker is ahead of you. Proceed with caution in these spots and fold if facing heavy action. CAlling the mini bet on the flop is fine. It could mean anything, but I would suggest folding to the raise. Unless they are bluffing, you are probably behind. GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX

                Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

                Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

                1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
                2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
                3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

                Best of Luck!

KQo Hello, here is a hand I would like to ask. My question is, was it a mistake to call the guy's 3bet especially when I'm out of position? I know that it was mistake to call his post flop bet, but at the end, it turned out, that he was bluffing.
Sorry, this hand was deleted by its owner

Hi, Hand Analysis On this stack depth without specific reads aobu the villains tendencies, yes it would be a mistake, there are several combos of Ax tha have us beat AK AQ AJ AT and let's factor in premium pocket pairs AA KK QQ JJ TT all of which will make up a tight re-raising range pre-flop. I would have folded readless. If you felt the villain was bluffing on the flop, I'd prefer check calling to keep their entire range in the pot as this a dry board texture, consider it value checking..and we do have some thin high card showdown value if the villain is capable of re-raising inferior high card combos...Nice pot that you won! Hope this helps. Kidn regards, CannonLee

AA Hello, I would like to ask, if my call was correct in this hand. Always when I end up All-In preflop with cards such as QQ,KK,AA, I lose. Is there something,I'm doing wrong or the luck is turning it's back to me?

I have also passed the Cash Game Quiz and here are the answers to the question - Why a player may want to make a big bet? 1) To put a lot of pressure on opponents 2) To bluff other players off decent hands 3) To protect against strong draws 4) To gain value from strong hands Thank you for any advice KingJelimán
