Hi Nazar032! With K9s from mid position I get two limps in front of me. Since my hand is not strong enough to raise with, I need to fold this preflop. When the opp makes an abnormally large raise (a standard raise is to 3BB+1BB for each limper), I absolutely need to fold as my hand is marginal-at-best. I want to be putting my chips into the pot when I'm ahead, not when I'm most likely behind. One of the keys when playing poker is to be patient and to wait for situations when I'm ahead. When I'm not, I need to keep folding and folding and folding until I'm in a situation when I'm ahead. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

                Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

                Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

                1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
                2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
                3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

                Best of Luck!

Good i Play here? Here i lost all my money.. Is this a lucky, or i do something wrong? I passed the quize and my answer for the question is that the player want to make big bets : -to put a lot of pressure on opponents -to bluff people off decent hands and clearly -to gain value from very strong hands !

Hi, Hand Analysis Did you have any reads on villain7, 3, 4 and 5? Sitting on a stack depth of 23bb I'd proceed with caution holding this hand it's not really strong enough to be cold calling out of the small blind and we'll be at a positional disadvantage post flop. In an opened pot of raise+call by two villains there are several hands that have us out kicked AK AQ AJ AT A9 etc... Rarely ever are we going to feel comfortable calling bets or making bets due to our kicker issues, let's just consider this a mediocre hand. So all this said I'd fold pre-flop. Post flop, we flop two pairs and that should be our main intention when electing to play a hand like this. Our stack depth is shallow and if we are to check call one street the stack to pot ratio will be set up, the best line to take here is to check raise all in, lead betting will only fold out worse hands that otherwise would have taken a stab at the pot. Hand Analysis A good rule of thumb when electing to reraise an opponent, is to make a sizing of 3x their sizing...so if they made a 5c raise I would make it a minimum of 15c (depending on my stack depth), right now our stack depth would merit this reraise sizing. When the villain re-raises us I would have preferred to get my stack all in pre-flop or make a re-raise sizing of 80c, they're sitting deep enough to afford either flat calling or jamming over the top of us both of which are great for us unless they are holding AA or KK lol. Post flop, there are many draws and several combos of made hands that we beat that will call our all in. unfortunate outcome to this hand. Hope thishelps. Kind regards, CannonLee
