Hello NightFun, You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job! NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future First Step Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

Hi NightFun That's great to hear, but you need to post your hand here in the forum using the Hand Replayer so that the hand can be analysed. If you need any help with that please just let me know. flophitter umbup:

Hi NightFun, And I don't see your Poker Basic pass in our system here. It might be a glitch but I suggest you take the quiz again and then hopefully I'll see your pass from this end. If you encounter any issues please let me know. flophitter umbup:

I wanted to know if I played my pocket As correctly. Should I have raised higher before the flop? I need to better understand how much I should be raising and at what point exactly. I realize that after the flop I was up against a more than possible straight by other opponents. Not sure why I called the allin, other than it was play money, and then of course I got lucky. Still my basic question is how much I should have started with before the flop. I really do not trust pr A's, they more often than not do not do well for me. After all, they are just a pair. Thank you!

Hi NightFun, Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you. This is normally done within 24 hours (but can sometimes take a little longer, especially at weekends) and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step. We'll also check if your quiz pass shows in the system. Cheers! flophitter umbup:

Hi NightFun! With AA or any other hand that I'm going to raise with, I'm going to make a standard raise to 3BB+1BB for each limper. With 2 limpers, I will raise to 50 chips. I do not want to limp behind with premium hands like this as they play much better against less opponents, so I want to make a standard raise and hope that some of them fold. For example, if I have AA against one random hand, I win 85% of the time. If I'm up against 6 random hands, I only win 43% of the time... so I'm turning the best hand in NLHE into a situation where I lose more than I win by limping. I now see a 7-way flop with a very wet board. I get an abnormally small min-bet then an abnormally small min-raise and two calls. Bets postflop need to be sized based on the size of the pot, number of opps and board texture. With 4 or more opps in the pot, I cannot bet less than a pot-sized bet. With opps already making small bets, I will make a pot-sized raise to 160. I don't want to bet less than this or I can be giving the opps the correct odds to try to outdraw me. I then get 4 shoves. While AA is a premium hand preflop, with a very wet board and facing 4 shoves, I need to muck here as I'm going to lose more often than win, as one of the opps will most likely have or hit a straight or flush and my pair cannot beat either of those.. let alone an opp with two pair. I want to be putting my chips when I'm most likely ahead, not when I'm easily beaten and I also need to be able to fold premium hands when I get a bad board with this many opps in the hand. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Well done NightFun! You've passed the basic test and had your hand analysed so you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player. Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup: Team PokerSchoolOnline

We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus. Hand replayer Normally I would not have played but being in the BB I checked and the flop gave me QQ. After the one player re raised to 12c, I knew I should have folded, but he was playing loose earlier, so I figured I still had the stronger hand. When the K came I started to worry, but still had confidence. I'm not sure if I really played this hand well, even though I ended up winning the hand. My opponent could have ended up with a straight on the river, but as it happened he was trying to make a hand/suckout. Thank you.
