Replayer post , Sepehr-Sp Hi. Thank you . I did see videos and passed the quiz and here is my replayer post You demanded. In this hand T I used my Position and put pressure on blinds with a weak Ace to steal blinds or make them fold on the flop or after that. but the big blind showed some interest in a flop i didnt make connection to exept a gutshot draw. But his reaction to my raises was passively and withot any sign of strength. so i continued and specially after his check on the river i guessed he has not made his hand and with a big enough bet i can make him to fold his maybe better hand ( weak pair maybe ). what about my strategy and specially amounts of my bets? was it good to bet on the river or just see is Ace is good enough? thanks. Looking forward

Hi Sepehr-Sp! With A3o on the button and being first to act, I'm going to make a standard raise to 3BB+1BB for each limper, so I will raise to 60. Both opps call and I flop a gutshot draw. When both opps check, I'm going to make a c-bet here. Bets postflop need to be sized based on the size of the pot, number of opps and board texture. With 2 opps in the pot, a standard bet is 2/3 pot so I will bet 120. I want to keep all of my bets and raises standard as this helps to conceal the strength of my hand. Players that bet more with better cards and less with marginal ones are basically turning their cards face-up to an observant opponent... something that I need to avoid. I also do not want to bet less than 120 or I can be giving the opps the correct odds to call to try to outdraw me, which is something that I need to avoid too. The turn is another blank and when the opp checks, I need to check behind here and see a free river card. A standard bet against one opp is 1/2 pot and my hand is not strong enough to make this bet. The river is another blank and with the opp having called a raise preflop and a c-bet on the flop, I need to check behind here and go to showdown and hope that I have the best hand. I don't want to be betting with nothing as I want to be putting my chips into the pot when I most likely have the best hand. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

Hi, Hand Analysis Did you have any reads on this villain? This is a standard hand to be defending our big blind with even on a stack depth of just under 20bb. Post flop, we flop top pair and there is going to be such a wide range that we can get value from by check raising the flop. AK AQ AJ A9 A8 A7 A6 (with a stray diamond) 16 combos of each of these hands, KQ KJ QT JT T9 T8. Check/bet calling does have some merit but it does leave us vulnerable to losing value as there are many turn cards that can hurt our course of action and likely the villain to, but I believe most of this villains continuation bet range will consist mostly of a stray diamond and high card combos. We have just over a pot sized bet remaining on the flop, I'd prefer re-raising either all in our 2.5 the villains raise size so that we can get the value now instead of being forced to check call or in worse off situation check fold these much needed big blinds. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee
