Hi docomi155! With one of the worst hands in holdem (34o), especially from out of position, I need to immediately fold here. With the positional disadvantage that I have from here postflop, I only want to be playing premium hands. The only unpaired cards that I will play from here are AK and possibly AQs... that's it. All other hands are too weak and need to be folded. Patience is a huge key in poker and I need to be able to fold my bad hands and wait until I get better ones, so that I can be putting my chips in when I'm ahead, not when I'm behind. If I saw the flop (which I never would), when I flop a full house and it checks to me, I will make a standard value bet as I want to keep all of my bets and raises standard. With 4+ opps in the pot, a standard bet is a pot-sized bet, so I will bet 36. The same thing on the turn, but this time, since the bet is over 1/3 of my remaining stack and pot-commits me, I need to shove the turn. The key with this hand is to muck bad hands preflop and to wait for a situation when I'm ahead. Yes, every hand can get lucky, but I want to be playing hands where I'm most likely ahead. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

Hi docomi155! Straight flush - nice! That doesn't happen too often so enjoy it Here you are a bit short stacked to start with having only 33bbs. Speculative hands such as suited connectors and small pairs can be great to play from position. However, they normally miss and we have to fold the flop. The few times we do make a big hand, we need to be deep enough to make a big profit on these winning hands in order to make playing speculative hands profitable. Also, at 2NL we often get a string of callers even when we raise. Raising to isolate the limper with a marginal hand like 67s doesn't usually get us the result we want. Therefore, I prefer just limping behind. You have good position and a hand with good flopping potential. I would like J10s or better before raising. You got a great flop and getting all in as you did was perfect. GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX
