          Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

          Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

          Best of Luck!

              Great Job!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and know you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundementals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

              Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyze it for you so please post and intersestig hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

Villain 1 is loose aggressive (Villain 1 has showed down weak hands and has 3-bet quite often (no HUD, so not sure exact %)) Villain 3 is loose passive all other players are tight passive about one hour in of play at this table I'm pretty sure if I hadn't stacked off at the turn it would have been at the river when I hit the flush. In retrospect the call seems -EV, but Villain 1 was pretty consistent in playing weak holdings aggressively.

Hi Jonnylawford, I will be your Hand Analyzer for this post Raising with A5s from MP is okay if we have weaker opponents in the blinds; folding is also an option as we are not giving up on too much equity anyways though we have an Ace for a high card, we are connected (we can make straights) and we are suited. But we have to be aware of the table dynamics when we raise with a hand like this - what I'm saying is that this should not be a standard open from MP. Given we have a loose aggressive player OTB I think I would prefer a fold preflop actually. Anyway, we do flop well with TPTK and Straight Flush draw and we bet for value umbup: now that we are raised, I think calling is best. On this kind of board when they raise us they could have sets, A4, 64, some FDs and a semi bluff with a hand like 44. Against that entire range we are almost even money but when we do raise it back they will fold so much of their weak hands and only call us with sets and straights. Also they size it bigger than 3x which makes me think they are sort of protecting a strong hand. The turn actually does not change much although it gives us trips it has improved our villain to a boat some of the time and we still lose to a straight so I would x/c turn; leading out with an all in shove really value owns ourself unless villain precisely has 65s or 54s and would call an all in bet - a bit optimistic I think. So the line I would take is bet/call flop, x/c turn, re-evaluate river.

Thanks, that evaluation makes sense. Theoretically if ou had check/called the turn what would you have done on the river when the flush hit?
