Hi here is my hand replay where I lost big part of my chips. I would like to ask whether it was wise to continue playing after TURN. I passed the Quiz. What's the next step?

            Hi vancom79,

I will be your Hand Analyzer for this post

I would raise with AJ to 16$ (3bbs + 1bb for every limper). You have played your hand very passively and saw a flop against multiple opponents which cuts down on our chance to win the hand. We really want to be raising here for value and to minimize the number of people that see the flop as our hand plays poorly in a multiway pot.

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

At first, my best played hand and now hand when I lost all. Any comments please? Player may want to make a big bet: - To put a lot of pressure on opponent. - To gain value from very strong hand. - To protect against stong draws.

Hi vancom79! First hand 34s. Suited connectors are great hands to play, however, 34 is a bit low since you will always be drawing to the low end of a straight. 56 is the lowest I would open with. As played, you got a great flop. You played the hand fine postflop. However, keep in mind that you are not drawing to the nut flush with such low cards (unless you get a str flush in this hand). You need to be a bit careful about not over valuing your hand. Second hand 77. Calling behind preflop is good with pocket pairs. However, postflop you need to be more careful. With small pairs you should play "fit or fold". In other words, all the times you dont flop a set, you should check-fold the hand, especially when facing so many overcards on the flop. GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX

Hi, Hand Analysis Sitting on 40bb we can open for the standard amount of 3x the big blind +1bb for each limper. This will help to ensure a pot is built and value is made, it may also help to thin the amount of players involved in the pot. Did you have any reads on the villain? There are several combos of Ax that have us beat AK AQ AJ AT A9 A8 A7 A6 A5 etc.. 16 combos of each of these hands!! That's alot I'd be keen to check fold on the flop or turn to save bets for a better spot on most board textures that contain 1 or more over cards, especially in a 3bet pot. If we had specific reads I may consider getting to showdown, but even then it's a marginal/mediocre spot. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee
