Hi IVKOZA! With 23s, I get 3 limpers in front of me. With a total trash hand in 23s, I need to fold this preflop. 23 is one of the worst hands in NLHE. Patience is a very large part of playing holdem and I need to be able to fold my bad hands and wait for a situation when I'm ahead. If I saw the flop (which I never would), when I totally miss the flop, I need to check and see a free turn card. The turn puts three clubs out there, but I have two pair. When it checks to me again, I need to make a standard value bet. Bets postflop need to be sized based on the size of the pot, number of opps and board texture. With 4 opps, I need to and will make a pot-sized bet of 220. On the river, if someone calls my turn bet, I will check/fold and hope to get to showdown. The key with this hand though is to muck really bad hands preflop and to wait for a much better situation. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
