Here is a hand I got wiped out on with A,T against A,9. Seems to happen to me a lot. I not sure if I am just unlucky or doing something wrong. I should beat him most of the time by the math you would think. Maybe I should not have called his raise.

Hi, Hand Analysis Did you have any specific reads on villain8? Sitting on a 50bb stack depth being first to act pre-flop we could enter the pot for a raise, however if the action behind us get's reopened I'd be keen to want to fold in this spot. In a cash game villains will tend to not re-raise early position opens with a loose range, generally they'll be doing it with close to the top of their range (unless our reads on the villain dictate otherwise to call the all in). There are several combos of Ax that have us outkicked AK AQ AJ, premium pocket pairs AA KK QQ JJ TT and pocket pairs 99 88 77 66 etc.. Our hand is the type that should be played post flop, only when we are sitting with a smaller stack size should we consider playing for stacks with a hand like this from this position. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

Three reasons why a player may want to make a big bet.
1 To put a lot of pressure on opponents
2 To gain value from any strong hand
3 To bluff people off decent hands

                        Hi CR4ZYCANUCK,

I will be your Hand Analyzer for this post

I really don't like raising there with 77. We have a good hand to call and set mine against two opponents but we don't have a strong hand to 3bet for value and plan to get our money in preflop. And when they 4bet us like they did we lose the price to call to set mine because when we set mine we want to have atleast 15x the bet behind in stacks to make our setmining profitable since we will only hit a set 1 in 10.

                            Ok thanks,

                            Thanks Jeff

68%,so close today. Not sure what I got wrong but will try again tomorrow.

                              Hi CR4ZYCANUCK,

The quiz answers are not available to any of us. Take your time with this test, it can be a challenge. Also, it may be helpful if you take notes that you can refer to during the test.

                              Good luck!
