    Interesting...
I have been playing quite a bit lately and don't have any credit cards to be able to play for any kind of real cash. I play a few cash games in my home town but would like to start playing some online. I mostly want to get in on this promotion for the training. i read a lot of the courses that are on here and have only took one test so far. So I would like to take part in the Bankroll Builder Promotion.
    Cheers

I watched the video, I passed the test, this is the hand. 2,3 hearts in the small blind. Was that an automatic fold? Decent call for how many players were already in the pot? Good bet on the turn? Should i have folded to the raise on the river? Thanks for the feedback in advance.

Hi CSQRD13! Sorry for the delay Yeah, 23s is a suited connector, but it is really low. Plus, being in the small blind you will be out of positon all hand. Folding preflop would be best. The reason is that with suited connectors we are hoping to make a flush or straight. You will be on the bottom end of a straight and the lowest flush if you hit either. Thus, you will never be able to bet with confidence. As played, betting half the pot on the turn with two pair is fine. On the river I suggest checking rather than betting. Depending on the villain you can hope to check down the hand or perhaps check-call a small bet. I would fold to a larger bet though. GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

reasons players would want to make a big bet:
                      1) to put a lot of pressure on opponents
                      2) to protect against strong draws
                      3) to gain value for very strong hands

Hi, Hand Analysis Sitting on such a short stack depth of 25bb I would have elected to raise the standard amount of 3x the big blind +1bb for each limper. Raising anything more than the standard amount will generate more folds than we would like to see from a weaker range of holdings. We want to get the villain ('s) to call with pretty much any two cards, our value will mostly be made post flop were the villains can connect with the board or spite call with high card combos... unless of course the action gets re-opened behind us to which we have to happily call off our stack with the best starting hand in no limit hold'em. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee
