Hello blckhl, You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job! NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future First Step Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.
After watching this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about. Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.
Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course. So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus. 1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video 2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer 3) Pass the Poker Basic course. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:

        Hi,
I've a problem with the second task... I can't send my hand history to my email. When i try to to it, i get the message of "hand histories for play money are not available". Furthermore I don't have any previous hand button in my screen as mentioned in videos. I also don't have an option to send hand history from the "requests" menu in lobby... I guess my client is different from what is shown in videos.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is the software in videos obsolete?

Hi blckhl, Sorry to hear you have a problem with that, let's see if we can find a solution. Firstly, play money histories are not available via email (but real money ones are), you would need to configure your client to save them to your hard drive: Options > Instant Hand History Options > Put a check in the box to save your histories. Secondly, just click on Help > About PokerStars and tell me what version number you see there. And do you have a Mac or PC? flophitter umbup:

            Hi,
Unfortunately "instant hand history options" in my option menu is disabled (it's light grey). I got a PC and my version is:
            PokerStars 6 (Build: 7308)
            Server Version: 1019
            Protocol Version: 1.75

By the way I registered through pokerstars.net and downloaded the client from there (instead of .com) if this matters...

Hi blckhl, Ah ok, the latest from PokerStars.com is Build 7385, so please visit the .com site and download from there and that should fix it for you. flophitter umbup:

Hi, I watched the "getting started" video took basic poker course and passed the quiz at the end of the course. And here is the hand post you requested (Note that it wasn't a play money tournament. Instead I attended a few free-rolls, this is the first hand of one of them. I think I played right, what you think?) :

Hi blckhl, Whoops - this promotion is all about full-ring (9-player) games, otherwise known as "cash" games. So we need a hand from a play money ring game. It might be a good idea to read over the terms of the promotion again. But good to see you have completed your other tasks and I wait to hear from you. flophitter umbup:

Hand Analysis Did you have any reads on villain2? I understand that play money hand ranges will play much wider than in real money games, however as much as possible let's get accustomed to the real money dynamic..firstly our stack depth is on the brink of being to deep to call off this many big blinds pre-flop, most likely we will be up against two over cards to which we are in a coin flip situation or they could have us dominated with a higher pocket pair...the only way I would call this hand off is if I hade really specific reads of their tendencies and known hand ranges from previously played hands. Unfortunate outcome to this hand. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee

                              Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

                              Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

                              1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
                              2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
                              3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

                              Best of Luck!
