Hi, Hand Analysis Facing a raise and a reraise ahead of us, we can be certain that our hand is beat by either a better range of Qx or premium holding.. Unless our reads on these villains dictate other wise. KQ AQ JJ QQ KK AA are certainly well within a tight 3bet/4bet range. Risking half of our stack just to see a flop with an unmade hand will prove to be costly in the long run..especially if we are folding when not connecting in some way with the board texture. With our overall equity versus the above mentioned hand ranges..let's also includ medium to low pocket pairs 22+ we are barely approaching 30% equity (maybe even less). I would have elected to fold this hand pre-flop. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

              reasons for big bet

bluff people out of decent hands, put pressure on an opponent or to gain value from strong hands or to protect your hand from strong draws.

Hi, Hand Analysis Let's start with pre-flop. If we decide that our hand is playable, we should enter the pot for a raise, the standard amount is 3x the big blind, this will help to get the initiative in the pot (even if we may be in a positional disadvantage post flop). Generally these type of low kicker ace combos should be folded from early positions, with the amount of players left behind to act..it increases the liklihood of a better combo of Ax being present AK AQ AJ AT A9 A8 A7 A6 A5 all have us outkicked and rarely will we ever feel comfortable betting this type of hand for thin value on most board textures. Post flop, given that this is a multiway limp pot, 5x and combos are plausibely well within any of the villains range...usually a limping range is perceived as a weak range of holdings and rightly so, considering this is a no limit (big bet game). Even though we are getting decent pot odds to try and peel a 3 for the ace to five straight..we only have 4 outs, our overall equity in the pot is minimal with the amount of outs we have and we would barely be breaking even on a call (or even if decided to semi-bluff). As played, everything went fine up until the river...without specific reads about villain3's tendencies..I'd fold as their line is indicative of a slow played 5 and there are not many hands we beat that are in a tight showdown value range on this board texture. Unfortunate river card. Please only play at a full table of 9-max no limit hold'em 0.01/0.02c as you Bank Roll Builder training is focused primarily on this game format. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee
