i have passed the course and played a few play money hands here is one of them i raised big pre flop because it is play money people don't care about 3x raises,as you can see i still got everyone to call so maybe i should have gone bigger. i checked the flop because of the ace and then when he moved in it felt like i was losing but again this is play money and you can never really know what people are up to in the play money tables. should i have folded in that spot? thank you in advance vladislava

Hi, Hand Analysis A limping range is perceived as a weak range of holdings. A good general rule of thumb when deciding to raise over the limpers, is to make a sizing of 3x the big blind 1bb for each limper, this will help to ensure a pot is built and value is made with our premium holdings if one or more of the villains decide to call. When all of the limpers decide to call and the flop comes ace high, all we can do is check... that is one of the problems with playing inflated pots out of position..these situations put a lot of pressure on us on whether our hand is worthy to bet for thin value on a board that has one or more over cards.. There are 16 combos or each Ax holding A2 A3 A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 A9 AT AJ AQ AK, all of which beat our hand. Usually players that like to limp are indicative of loose and/or tight passive tendencies and they love to slow play.. I would have check folded on the turn to save bets..with so many players involved in the pot and a all in + call from two villains, our hand need to go into the muck. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

reasons for betting getting money in the pot, to apply pressure on opponents and to protect strong hands against draws i've also passed the cash game course and i will post a hand soon in this hand i called him down on 2 streets because i felt there was a good chance he was on some sort of draw what do you think about the hand? thanks in advance

Hi, Hand Analysis On the flop a villains leading range is going to be weak (not all of the time) and considering that the flop brings several draws some of which may be considered a favorite versus our hand, there are also many made top pair hands that the villain could have T6 T7 T8 T9 TJ TQ TK AT and 2nd pair 87 89 T8 JT Q8 K8 A8 (16 combos of each individual hand) and the majority of this range would be common to be defending the big blind with based on their stack depth and immediate pot odds facing a raise and call (2 to 1 pot odds). I would have maybe called one street to re-evaluate my course of action on the turn, but ultimately I'd be basing my actions on this players tendencies from previously played hands and known hand ranges, there are several hands that we lose to and if I do not intend to call any bets on the river..it would be better to just fold on previous streets to save bets for a value spot as opposed to a bluff catching spot. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee
