      Hello StrongerBall,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!

NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

      First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

      1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
      2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
      3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

      Best of Luck!

Hi StrongerBall! With Q8s from the SB, I get 4 limps in front of me. I have two choices here. I can either complete and see if I can flop a monster or I can fold. The majority of the time, I'm going to fold as the positional disadvantage post-flop is a big problem. If I flop a Q, I can easily be beat and the same if I flop an 8. I flop 2nd pair and with an A on the flop and 5 opps, I can easily be behind, so I need to check and fold to any sizable bet. I turn two pair and here I need to lead out with a value bet. Bets postflop need to be made based on the size of the pot, number of opps and board texture. With 4+ opps, I need to make a pot-sized bet, so I will bet 60. The river gives me a full house and once again, I need to lead with a standard value bet. Since there are still 5 opps in the hand, I once again will make a pot-sized bet. I do not want to check the turn nor river, as I am losing value for my hand and I do not want to give someone a free card to try to outdraw me on the river if the opps check behind on the turn. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24) P.S. Please let me know when you have passed the quiz.

Brilliant StrongerBall! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck!umbup: John (JWK24)

                  bankroll b

HELLO. Answer to the big bet question is to bet to put pressure on opponents , to bluff off decent hands , to gain value from a strong hand and to protect against a strong draw.

I pass the Cash Game quiz.

Well played StrongerBall! I think I would raise the flop to 0.18 though; no need to make a discount there Our hand might be strong now but might be vulnerable to overcards that come on later streets. so let our opponent pay if they are cbetting with a KQ hand. Turn play is kind of close. I think there are both valid reasons to bet or check. When we bet we are betting for value and to protect our hand from face cards but also we might be value owning ourselves against TT/JJ/QQ and the rare Ax. Checking we control the size of the pot and we can pick up a bet on the river from 88-22 but we risk giving a free card to face cards. umbup:

                              Hi StrongerBall!

It takes 48-72 hrs for these to show, but the ONLY vpp's that count for this is since the last bonus.

We only show you at 2.62VPP total, and the number since the last bonus is less than this. Please keep playing to get to 10 only after the last bonus.
