Hand Replay? Step 2. I was value betting as I had a a straight draw. On the river I hit my straight and was certain I'd won. But gzbaghdaddy had a flush. Could this be considered a bad beat?

Hi Yagamau5! Preflop I strongly suggest folding this hand. Your only good flop will be a fush draw. If we could see the flop cheap it would be ok, but the pf raise makes calling unprofitable. As played, on the flop you have a straight draw, but notice that you are drawing to the low end of the straight. You might have the best hand if you make your staight, but having the low end means you dont want to risk your stack with this hand. Also note, with so much already in the pot, your value bet of 20 is much too small if you are going to bet. With the flush draw showing, it would be better to make it 70% of the pot if you were to bet. Checking is best though. On the turn a flush is possible. Now you have no potential to improve to the nuts. This is a clear spot to fold. Try to be patient. Wait until you have a strong made hand such as a set, straight or flush in spots where that rates to be the best hand. GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX

Brilliant! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:

                        1) I can not do this currently as the last bonus i received was a year ago and I no longer have any money.

2)To apply pressure on an opponent, to value bet a strong hand and to steal bb and sb from weak players.

                        3) I have not yet passed the course.
