Bank Roll Builder kaewbeer I think that i should thrown this hand away pre-flop,but I hit open-end straight draw at the flop 8-2spade=6outs of 47cards then I bet 10% of the pot but that I must plays agains multiway pot that they probably have anythings the turn come with open diamond flush draw ,i'd bet more to semi bluffing that break my opponent odd but nothing happen.. and when the river hit flush draw ,I cannot tripple barrel bluffing with this board...

Hi, Hand Analysis On this depth of big blinds it's difficult to play pots out of position without the initiative, this hand should generally be played in a multi-way pot as you most likely have proper pot odds or in position with the initiative as the pre-flop raiser. Post flop, we have to discount our outs that are a spade as that could potentially make one of the villain's hand for a flush. I would have preferred to just check call the flop and turn depending on the villain's bet sizing, as most middling board textures will hit the majority of the general populations range. Min betting is basically charging our self to draw out, a good general rule of thumb is to bet any where from 2/3 pot size to 3/4 pot, this will help to ensure that a pot is built and it will thin the amount of players involved in the pot coupled with increasing our overall hand strength/equity in the pot. The river, we paired our 8, that was a great fold, we have marginal showdown value versus some missed flush draw combos, but there are going to be more value hands in their range than bluffs in my opinions given the sequence of bet>call actions. Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

Hi, Hand Analysis Even though we will have a positional advantage post flop being on the button, we should really be folding this hand pre-flop as we will rarely feel comfortable betting this hand for value or calling bets unless we hit a really hot flop, also our stack depth is semi-shallow which limit our overall maneuverability. Post flop, in a limped pot it's plausible that a villain could have an 8, but it's highly unlikely taking card removal into account as we hold one of the potential combinations. On the flop I'd be looking to set up the stack to pot ratio to potentially get stacks in on later streets, but the dilemma is that it's hard for the villain to have a 2nd nut hand to continue with and their are no draws to get value from on the flop..we could check back the flop in hoped that the villain turn some back door equity or bet 2/3 pot size for value to induce a range of Kx Ax or Ax high to float us. On the turn, the flush draw is present, I'd bet more than 1/2pot, 2/3 pot size would be a sufficient amount as each of the villains have a deep enough stack to afford a call. Now when the villain check raises us, their line is indicative of Kx and maybe some inside straight draw combos, I like flat calling their raise as we want to keep their entire range in the pot. On the river, yes absolutely we can commit with this hand given the amount we have invested and the summary of possible ranges mentioned in above paragraphs! Nice pot and nice hand! Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee
