Hi hed0! With JTo from the BB, I can do either of two things. If I think that many of the opps would fold to a raise, then I would make a standard raise to 3BB+1BB for each limper (18 chips). If the opps are likely to call, then I'll just check and see a free flop. I flop top pair, with a not so great kicker and when the SB checks, I will make a standard value bet. Bets postflop need to be made based on the size of the pot, number of opps and board texture. With 4 or more opps, a standard bet sizing is a pot-sized bet, so I will bet 14. The turn is what should be a blank and when it checks to me with this many opps in the pot (so I could be easily outkicked), I'm going to check behind here for pot control. If I did bet, I'd need to make another pot-sized bet, but since this is well over 1/3 of my remaining chips, I'd need to shove and I don't want to shove when I can easily be behind. An opp now shoves and is called. While I do have top pair, I can easily be beat by a better kicker or two pair and due to this, I need to fold. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Brilliant! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:

Hi hed0! Preflop, A10o is a bit too weak to be raising with from early position. It is a tough hand to play post flop. The idea of isolating the limper is good, but you want to have AQ+ or 1010+ to do this from early position. Be careful not to overplay aces with questionable kickers. We want to stick to a tight range from early position because we need to get through so many remaining players. As played, leading out on the flop is good. You have second pair, but with two Ks showing, it is less likely that the villain has a K. I would recommend betting about 70% of the pot. This is enough to give anyone chasing a draw poor odds. Your bet was a bit heavy. Once you get called, checking down the turn is fine with middle pair. Checking the river is perfect though, nice job. All the hands you are beating such as missed draws, will presumably fold to a bet whereas only hands beating you such as Kx or 6x will continue. Good job on the river. GL and have fun at the tables!
