            Hi sunnygad!

I'll run through the hands in post #4.

            1. Raising AQ on the button when faced by a couple of limpers is fine. You flopped TPTK, so I think the plan here is to keep betting and only slow down if you get raised. On the turn, there is 720 in the pot, and you only have a little bit more than that in your stack. Since making a standard bet of between half and full pot on the turn will leave you with so little behind, I would just go all in there. The flush draw completes on the river, so checking back to save yourself some chips if you're beaten is OK, but I'd generally just put the rest in, because villain will have to call with worse hands, based on the ridiculous pot odds you'll be giving him.

            2. With 33 facing a limp and a minraise, I think it's OK to call and go set-mining, but when the SB ships all in, your hand is no good. I'd only get all my chips in the middle pre-flop with QQ+ and sometimes AK. Good fold!

            3. The call pre-flop with KQ is fine, but when the flop comes 986, I have no idea why you made a bet of close to the size of the pot. You have 2 overcards, but in a multiway pot like this, it's very likely that someone has two pairs, a set or even a straight. Since it's pretty much impossible for your bet to get called by worse, it's a huge waste of your chips to bet out. It's more standard to check to the pre-flop raiser and see what he does. Most of the time, I would be check-folding on this flop, as it connects with lots of middling hands, but completely missed yours. You definitely have to fold when you get raised, so now you see how your initial bet was a total waste.

            4. With 87s in the SB, you have the perfect opportunity to see a multiway pot cheaply, as you have good immediate pot odds (the cost of calling) and decent implied odds (the stacksizes) if you flop a rare monster. Minraising pre-flop makes no sense. No one's going to fold for an extra 10 chips, so you're just setting yourself a higher price to try and hit the board. As played, the flop gives you a flush draw, and you decide to pot it. I think you can get away with a smaller bet. If villains have a pair, they aren't folding, so try and keep the pot small until you actually make your hand. The turn gives you some more outs, as you picked up a straight draw, but you still only have 8 high. Again, your bet-size is too big. You're charging yourself too high a price, so you're just giving money to anyone that has a made hand. All your draws miss on the river, so you finally give up. It's quite funny to see that villain drags a big pot with queen high. If villains are calling on the flop with hands like that, I wouldn't (semi-)bluff at all, because for your bluffs to be successful, you need villains to be capable of folding sometimes.

            Hope this helps!

Brilliant! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:
