My Bankroll Builder hand question I've completed all the key steps you have previously demanded. I'm posting a hand replay to find out a tad more on whether I have played it right or perhaps should have played it differently. I decided to do a continuation bet just to represent a strong hand postflop. Plus, my adversary was quite loose so I didn't think he had a good hand or hit anything on the flop. I have passed the basic quiz, too. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.

Hi Sabaku87! There are several points worth noting in this hand. Firstly, try to stick to tables where all the seats are actually filled. This will allow you to be patient and wait for good starting hands. This in turn will make it easier to play confidently and make a profit A10o is normally too weak to open with from early position. Here though with a short table it is probably fine. On the flop, I strongly recommend just checking. Firstly, c-betting into multiple opponents will rarely get everyone to fold. Here you missed the board, and it offers several draws. Therefore, c-betting is most likely to increase the size of the pot, without improving your chances of winning. At play money and 2NL, bet your strong made hands post flop and fold your weak missed hands. There is no need to bluff. Bluffing is often costly since villains tend not to fold. This means you will normally need the best hand at the showdown if you want to win. On the flip side, when you do flop a strong hand (set or better), we can expect to get pair maximum value by these same villains. Now, as played, you did a great job sizing your bets on all the streets post flop.umbup: Your read appears to have been correct and your river bet on the flushy board produced a fold. This was an unnecessarily high risk move, but you excecuted it nicely. Well doneumbup: Just remember, at playmoney and 2NL, it is easier AND more profitable, to never bluff. Simply value bet every chance you get. GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX

Excellent! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! umbup:

This is my hand: I should have folded after he reraised but didn't. Or so it seems. Here are my answers regarding the purpose of big bets: We use big bets to: - (Semi)Bluff players into folding their good holdings. - Put more money into the pot when we have a strong hand. - Protect our hand against strong draws. I also have studied and then passed the cash quiz so I think I'm ready for the next step.

                        Hi Sabaku87,

I will be your Hand Analyzer of this post
I don't fault you too much for calling here because of stack size. It's actually very close. We are getting almost 2.2:1 on our call which means we need 31% equity in the hand.
If we think our opponent will put us all in here with { JJ-TT, AQs-ATs, KQs, JTs, AQo-ATo, KQo, JTo } then calling is profitable but if we think he will just call with AQ then folding is the better option. I don't think it would be a big mistake with whatever decision we take here.

                        GL at the tables!

I have lost the most of my deposit. The money I have left is not enough to join any table. I feel really depressed right now. Here's the losing hand: Please don't tell me this was the last 2$ I could get from you...
