Bankrole Builder i felt i played these queens rather well in mid position, followed by min raise and a few callers they had good value . the flop played well for the queens and since there was no sizeable raise pre i felt i was still in good shape with the board. the hand played out which i ended up losing. How could i have played this better. Thoughts? also i have watched the video and passed the basic course thus full filling the three requirements. Cheers.

Hi, Hand Analysis Without us re-opening the action for a bigger bet to the villain's pre-flop, just closing the action by calling will leave us in a difficult situation post flop with so many players involved in the pot. The more players that that are involved in the hand, our overall hand/strength and equity in the pot will decrease. The villain that click back min 3 bet pre-flop, did you have any specific reads on them? I would have re-raised all in pre-flop to force a light call from one of the villains or win the pot uncontested, we can't 4bet half of our stack it'll put us in an awkward spot when we get 2 callers and the flop comes two over cards to our pocket queens. Post flop, we have an over pair to the board, but these middling connected board textures will hit so many different ranges of hands(Tx 9x Jx). We could maybe consider folding, but given the nature of this being a play money game, a shrug call is certainly within our options as the majority of general population tendencies at these games will tend to be weighted towards cold calling with mediocre holdings to which we'll have a fair bit amount of equity. Hope this helps. Good luck and good decisions, CannonLee

            Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

            Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

            1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
            2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
            3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Hi, Hand Analysis Did you have any specific reads on that villain? The only thing that really concerns me about this hand is the villains open raise sizing from early position 12c (6x the big blind) this is usually a great indicator of strength and rarely an isolation raise with mediocre or semi-strong holdings at full ring. We have a 25bb stack depth and we are dealt pocket queens which should ultimately be one of the hands at the top of our range willing to get it all in pre-flop! As played we got coolered by the deck, but it could have been avoided if we had reads on that villain, where they tight or loose? what range of hands have they taken to showdown in previously played hands? Hope this helps. Kind regards, CannonLee

Hi, Hand Analysis We have roughly a 40bb stack and versus the villains dynamic and plausible wide range of holdings, our hand will play relatively well. Going all in with this hand pre-flop is an option, but I do not advocate as our hand is just going to flop so much better than this villains, so flat calling is the optimal play here. Post flop, I do not mind leading on this flop texture as there could plausibly be worse Qx to get value from or flush combos. Although did you have any specific reads on the villains tendencies post flop and what ranges they are taking to showdown? Have they shown much aggression or are the in call mode? As played, I'd prefer just getting it all in on the flop as opposed to calling off half of my stack and jamming the turn. The thing here is, if we re-raise all in on the flop we close the action and force the villain to call with a wide range of holdings. Just calling the villains 3bet could put us in a dilemma on the turn if a king or ace peels off. Unfortunate outcome to this hand. Have you lost the complete second Bank Roll Builder buy-in? If so, please let me know and your third bonus will be awarded. Kind regards, CannonLee
