Hi Raiser, As you had asked, 1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video DONE 2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer DONE Here the other guy raised 60X and I was OOP too. I didn't know whether to call or lay it off. In the end decided to go with the former. But still what would you do when the guy who's covering you by margin puts such a raise? 3) Pass the Poker Basic course. DONE umbup:

Hi iAiCiKi! With 55 from the SB, I get 3 limps then an abnormally large raise to 600. A standard raise for this opp would have been to 3BB+1BB for each limper. I now need to decide whether to shove or fold, as calling is not even a consideration as I'd have well over 1/3 of my chips into the pot, meaning that I'm pot-committed. Also, in order to try to call to set mine, I would need over 15X the bet amount in both my stack and the opp's stacks and my stack is nowhere near this deep. The problem with 55 here is that in most instances, I'm either going to be in a flip or be totally dominated. Even if the opp is a maniac, I'm still in this situation. Due to this, I'm mucking as it's not worth the risk. If I could have gotten into the hand cheap to set mine, that would be one thing, but I'm not shoving against an abnormally large raise with a very marginal hand. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

              Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

              Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

              1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
              2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
              3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

              Best of Luck!

Hi iAiCiKi! Interesting hand! Calling preflop as a speculative hand is good here for several reasons. You have good suited connectors. You have position and there are mulitiple opponents in the hand. And you get to see the flop fairly cheap. If you make a straight or flush draw you rate to win a big pot. Be careful though if we flop a pair with this hand though. We get a pretty bad flop here. Any A is beating us. Any J has trips and a full house will always be possible. This weakens the confidence in our straight or flush because it wont be the nuts. The only good outs are the 10s and those arent 100% because of the full house threat. Folding on the flop would be best here. WIth most speculative hands this is what happens. We see a flop then fold. That is ok, becuase we hope to win a very big pot the few times we hit GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX

I've got 20VPPs in my account, does that mean my 3rd bonus would be credited to me automatically? Or do I have to do something more?
