Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

          Cheers.

Hi aswin92! With AKs from the cutoff, I'm going to make a standard raise to 3BB+1BB for each limper. With 2 limpers, I will raise to 5BB or 100 chips. I flop top pair, top kicker with the nut flush draw into a 5-way pot. When it checks to me, I need to make a standard value bet. Post flop bets are based on the pot-size, number of opps and board texture. With this many opps, I need to make a pot-sized bet here of 410. The turn pairs the board and now an opp makes an abnormally small bet of 80. Just like on the flop, I need to meke a pot-sized raise here, so I will raise to 570. I need to keep all of my bets standard, as this helps to keep the opps guessing as to the cards that I'm playing. Players that bet more or less are basically turning their cards face-up to an observant opponent. The turn gives me the flush, but with a paired board, I need to be watching for a possible full house (especially since so little was bet on the flop and turn). The opp now makes a very small bet into me, as the standard bet for a HU situation is 1/2 pot. I'm going to raise the opp here and the key is to size it where the opp will call. I will use a 1/2 pot raise and raise to 865. Once again, by keeping my bets standard, I have a better chance that the opp will call here. The keys here are the standard bet sizes, as by making them throughout the hand, I'll be able to get all my chips in by the river and have the opp double me.... by betting too small, I'm costing myself chips. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

              Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

              Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

              1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
              2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
              3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

              Best of Luck!
