Sorry, this hand was deleted by its owner
My main question is, if I overplayed my pair? They played very passive so I moved in. Done, all 3 of them.

Hi Isolli! I'll take a look at the hand in post #4.

With T7o on the button, I would just fold pre-flop. This is not a strong hand, and being in position won't compensate enough for that. As played, you over-limp in the multiway pot and see a 6-way two-tone flop of KT9, so you made second pair. This is a pretty wet flop, with several draws. It's even possible for someone to have flopped a straight with QJ. When the action is checked to you, it seems no one has a king, so you might have the best hand, but on such a wet board a bet is likely to get called, meaning your pair is vulnerable to overcards and straights/flushes on later streets. In an "orphan pot" like this, I like making a stab at it, so I'd go with a half pot bet. An overbet of 18 into 12 is not a good idea. It's hard to get called by worse with this size, and will usually only mean you get called by better. It actually looks like a big bluff, so villains will often call with anything half-decent. Three villains call and the turn comes a very blank 5. When it's checked to you, I think you should check behind. Your hand is not strong enough to be putting money in on every street. You have "showdown value", so should try to get there as cheaply as possible, by checking behind. By betting the pot, you are basically turning your hand into a bluff, when it actually has value. Betting the pot risks getting "value-owned", as it just bloats the pot and usually means only better hands are calling. The river completes a flush and you finally check behind. Surprisingly, you actually have the best hand. Villains made some loose calls on earlier streets. This won't happen so often on the real money tables, so be more cautious when you get to play on those. Don't make big bets with weak hands. With hands like middle pair, try and get to showdown cheaply.

            Hope this helps!
To get more tuition on cash game basics, I recommend going to live training sessions for the Wednesday and Saturday Games if you can. You'll even be able to play alongside other PSO members in the Homegame club and get instant feedback on the way you play your hands. Good luck!

            Cheers,
            Arty

              Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

              Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

              1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
              2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
              3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

              Best of Luck!
