Actually I believe I've done something wrong in the hands, can you advise?

Here's a hand that I played today, tried to value bet and all-in at the end. Have i done anything wrong?

Hi cya_lai, You must post your hands via the hand replayer - instructions for using it are included in the second video. Copy and paste hand histories will not be accepted. Thank you. Good luck at the tables! umbup: Joss

Hi cya_lai! These tourney hands have totally different strategies from cash full ring games, so what I say here really won't apply to this promo, but I'll go thru the hands for you. Please note that if you play a cash tourney after you receive a bonus from this promotion, you will make yourself INELIGIBLE for any further bonuses. The only type of games that can be played are 2NL FULL RING tables, no other rings nor any cash tourneys. -------- With AK on the button HU, I will make a standard raise to 3BB (540k). I do not ever want to complete when I'm playing heads-up. If the hand isn't worth raising with, I need to muck it. When I flop top pair and the opp checks to me, I will make a standard value bet of 1/2 pot (198k). I do not want to bet more nor less, as I want to keep all of my bets standard to conceal the strength of my hand. When the opp raises, I need to 3-bet and my standard 3-bet size is to between 3X their bet amount and a pot-sized raise. Since that is well over 1/3 of my stack, I'll 3-bet shove. -------------- With JTs and 5BB, I'm going to open-shove here. While I'd like to be doing this with a better hand, I'm so short in chips, that I need to shove. (Here's a great example of why the strategy is so different, as this is an easy muck in a ring game from UTG+1, as it's not a strong enough hand to play from this position). -------------- With AQs, I will make another standard raise to 3BB+1BB for each limper, so I will bet 120k. I want to keep all of my bets standard and do not want to raise smaller than this or I can be giving the opps the correct odds to try and outdraw me. -------------- The same thing with AA. I want to make a standard raise to 3BB+1BB for each limper. With one limp, I will raise to 160k. On the flop when the opp checks, I'll make a standard bet here too, which against one opp is 1/2 pot. I don't want to bet more nor less, as I want to keep all of my bets standard in order to conceal the strength of my hand. ---------- With QQ, I'll once again make a standard raise to 90 (3BB+1BB for each limper). When I flop quads, I will either make a standard value bet (1/2 pot since I'm against one opp) and I will only do this if the opp is a calling station, OR, I will check and hope that the opp has an A and will bet. If I check and the opp bets, I will call and not raise. The same thing on the turn. I either need to bet 1/2 pot or check/call. I do not want to do anything else, as I want to keep all of my bets standard. On the river, I will bet whatever I think the opp will call. I would rather bet too little here than to bet too much and have the opp fold, by which I get no value for my monster hand. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Hi cya_lai, I must remind you to play ONLY full ring (9 seats) tables while participating in this promotion. Playing any other games/tournaments will make ineligible to continue in this program. Best of luck on the tables. umbup: Joss
