Hello, You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job! NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future First Step Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus. 1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video 2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer 3) Pass the Poker Basic course. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:

Aggressive Heads-Up Play Done I'm new to but I joined a week ago -- I have played many, many games since that time and I always lose Heads-Up if I manage to get that far (I've only won once Heads-Up and have finished 2nd at least 8 times in SNG/MTT). I play fairly tight but I've come to realize this is an impossible way to play Heads-Up (in games prior to this one, the opponent basically just chipped away at my stack hand after hand as I folded 70%-ish of my hands, something that works just fine for me in Multi-Table Tournaments but clearly isn't playable Heads-Up) I am just wondering if I am on the right track by playing hands like the above linked one the way I have. It seems like I need to take risks when playing Heads-Up because if I just play hands post-flop upon which I've connected, I find my stack slowly dwindling away... If I've understood correctly, I have about a 16% chance of making a straight post-flop which would probably win me the hand, there is a remote backdoor flush longshot and I have Top Pair, though my opponent could have a larger pocket pair or overcards that he could pair on the turn or river so my pair of tens isn't necessarily even ahead right now let alone come later streets. The flop was also very straight-friendly, so I may not be the only one pursuing a straight draw, so maybe I have to revise my likelihood of winning the hand based on that fact. It just seems like when I'm down as much as I am here, I don't have much choice but to try and double-up, even if that means a coin toss where if I lose I am eliminated. I was winning most of the Heads-Up hands, however against an opponent who wouldn't almost ever put more than 200 chips in the pot, it was seemingly impossible to gain any ground. Thank you for reading and any guidance

Hi Reece528! This promotion is only for FULL RING cash tables. Playing other formats (which entail different strategies) can be a big problem for you. Once you receive your first bonus, if you play any other format other than FULL RING cash tables, you will make yourself ineligible for any future bonuses from this promotion. Please play the FR tables (as full a table as you can get) and post a hand that you had problems with there. Heads-up strategy is a totally different animal. I want to be playing about 80% of hands in position and 20% out of position. While I may play this IN position (on the button), I'm immediately mucking it preflop when out of position. I also want to keep my bets standard when playing. I'm betting 3BB+1BB if the opp limps preflop (or 3X their bet if they raise)... or I'm folding, nothing in-between. On the flop/turn, I'm betting 1/2 pot (no more, no less) if I'm betting and I will need to make many plays in position where I bet like I have the best hand, when I don't. None of this really applies to a cash game. If you want to learn more about HU play, here's a great video for you to watch. When you play the full ring tables and post a problem hand, I'll be happy to go thru it for you. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

              Hi Reece528,

As John points out, we need a $0.01/0.02 full ring cash game hand from you to analyse in this promotion, so once you post that here and let me know you've passed the Poker Basic quiz, we can credit you with your first bonus and then move on to the next step and the second bonus
