bankroll builder hand replayer upload i'm not sure if i'm doing it wrong, but i was trying to defend my hand(which i thought was the best) first bet was a medium, which didn't really do anything /: second was a pot size... but i still ended up getting a caller with pretty much junk /: am i doing it wrong? i was wondering if maybe the table was just really loose, it being a play money table..?

Hi Chansterism! With ATo from the cutoff, I'm going to make a standard raise to 3BB+1BB for each limper. With 3 limpers, I'll raise to 6BB or 60 chips. I want to keep all of my bets standard, so that the opps are continually guessing as to the cards that I'm playing. I flop two pair with a marginal kicker. When it checks to me here, I'm going to make a c-bet and the key is the sizing of it. I want to make my post-flop bets based on the pot size, number of opps and board texture. With 4 opps and a possible flush draw out there, I need to make a pot-sized bet (265). I don't want to bet less, as it can give the opps the correct odds to draw to a flush. The turn completes the flush and with 2 callers that could easily be ahead of me (bigger A, trip 4's, flush), when it checks to me, I need to check behind here for pot control. If I bet here, I should only get called/raised by better hands, which is a problem. I'll then re-evaluate on the river. Standard raises are a key that I want to use because it helps to conceal the strength of my hand. Opps that bet less with marginal hands and more with better hands are basically turning their cards face-up to their opponents... something that I do not want to do. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Brilliant! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! flophitter umbup:
