Hi peepshow1337! With AK, I get two limps in front of me. I'm going to make a standard raise here, which is to 3BB+1BB for each limper. With 2 limpers, I'll raise to 5BB or 1000. I want to keep all of my bets and raises standard, as by doing so, it helps to conceal the strength of my hand. Players that make abnormally large or small bets the overwhelming majority of the time are giving the opps a tell as to the strength of their hand that an observant opponent can notice and exploit. The flop totally misses me and when it checks to me, I'm going to make a 2/3 pot (due to 2 opps in the hand) c-bet. Once again, I'm keeping my bets standard, so the opps won't know if I have a set, a Q or nothing. If I get raised here, the opp most likely has a pair or hit a part of the board and since I have absolutely nothing, I need to muck. The key here is to make standard bets, not abnormally large nor small bets. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Brilliant! You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! Step Two Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you. Please watch the following video and answer the question below. List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet? Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this. So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus. 1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer. 2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it. 3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz. Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in. Best of Luck! Raiser umbup:

Hi peepshow1337 JJ is a good starting hand. However, I strongly suggest folding to the preflop 3-bet for three reasons. Firstly, JJ is tough to play postflop. There are so many overcards with all the Qs, Ks, and As that can come on the flop. These are all likely holdings for the villain which make for tough postflop choices. Secondly, you are going to be out of postion post flop. This makes it difficult to play post flop since you will have less information on the villain. Thirdly, you are relatively short stacked with only 79cents behind facing a raise of 18 cents. The pot is going to be very big compared to your stack. This reduces your options and makes folding postflop difficult. In general, fold to 3-bets when you are going to be out of position unless you have a very strong hand, or a good read on the villain. In these cases, it would normally be better to 4-bet all in rather than call. As played, the flop is pretty scary with all the clubs and the overcard. A flush steals some of your straight draws as well. You need to decide now what you intend to do with the rest of the hand. Check-calling is not your best option. Either check-fold to be safe, or bet all in yourself immidiately. This gives you some added fold equity in case the villain is holding one club for example. Good luck and have fun at the tables! cash game quizz bug

Hi, after failing the quiz, I tried again and it "swallows" every second question!
There is a bug that jumps over question 2,4,6, etc so I cant complete the quiz.

I have tried clearing browser (firefox) history and cookies and using google chrome, with the same result!

Very strange indeed. Would be happy if you guys could help!
