33 I hope it doesnt have to be a winning hand in order to get started but it seems that on play money tables everybody goes all in with 72 off soo i tried my luck wich i would not do at the 0.01/0.02 tables Thanks !

Hi NLStark! I'll take a look at this play money hand for you.

A hand like 33 is rarely going to be the best hand at showdown if it doesn't improve to a set of trips. With this hand, you want to see a flop cheaply and see if you can spike a set. If you flop a set, you can bet/raise and try and get all in for a double up. If you miss the flop, you can fold.
So I like the over-limp. You have a great price to see if you can hit the flop.
Suddenly, the button goes all in for 399 chips. Now you can't see a flop cheaply at all! Even if it's just one player going all in, pockets 3s doesn't have much chance of winning. If this villain had 72, you'd win the hand about 70% of the time, but he's more likely to be shoving a bigger pair or two big cards. Against that range, you'll only win about 40% of the time. It's not a profitable play to contribute 50% of the pot when you'll win it less than 50% of the time.

Folding becomes even more of a good idea when three other players call the all in shove. There are just too many overcards out there, any of which will beat your lowly pair. Since you won't make a set often enough, you should definitely fold here. With 4 players all in in front of me, about the only hands I'd call with would be KK and AA.

At least you recognise this play would not be good on a real money table. Try not to get into bad habits on the play money games. Play solidly according to the PSO tutorials, and then you should be able to make money when you transition to the tougher 2NL tables.

Good luck with the next stage of this promotion!

                Cheers,
                Arty

Thanks Arty for the tips provided, you're absolutely right. I hope I have not made a bad impression based on this hand. I would be more than happy to receive feedback on another hand Im on BB and i dont have to pay to see the flop. Nice straight draw at both ends. I havent bet because of the hearts and eights. Dead turn. And I hit the 9, I decide to test the water and the buton push with nothing I asume but I dont take the risk because the pot value and my poor kicker. I hope I played this hand better. Thanks for your support !

From what I see above I breached the rulles of this bankroll because I played 6-handed 0.01/0.02 ZOOM and I am sorry. The overall experience is good for my first session, in whitch I have lay down more good hands than I expected, because to much action before me.., I have chosen to be the aggressor instead, thats why I did not lose any big hand. In this hand I call to see the flop. I call on the flop because I want the button in the hand. On the turn because of my previous calls and the SBs check I value bet 35% (sound like a bluff on my part) and I win the hand In this one I want to show aggresion pre-flop, and I get action from 3 other players... how nice...I put everyone on a high ace, and it goes from that
