You played the hand correctly, with 95 high there are not to many other hands that we can get value from besides 8x and below, so it's safe to check as most of the time in a multi-way pot we will be beat by over cards Tx to Ax. If you have a full house, we want to bet an amount that the villain will call, going all in depends on the stack to pot ratio and previous betting rounds. I'd suggest to attend one of the Getting Started "Bet Sizing" Live Trainings.umbup: The Getting Started session that you attended the other day, did you find it helpful? Is there anything that you would like to discuss about it? Well done on the quiz! Your first Bank Roll Builder buy-in will be awarded to you within the next 24 hours. Please use this buy-in at full table of 9-Max 1/2c NLHE as your training is focused primarily on this game format. If you encounter any difficult situations during your session, please post a hand replay and we'll analyze it for you! Best of luck to you at the tables. CannonLee

No particular questions about that session, it was interesting because I learned more about the software. I attended that other live training too. I have lost a lot of money in one hand.

                  Hi,

Please play at a full table of 9-max NLHE as your training is focused primarily on this game format!

With our stack depth at a short handed table it's fine to open this hand on the button. When we brick the flop, I'd just shut down and check behind/fold to any bets, as 1 continuation bet of about half pot commits our stack and we are only drawing to 3 outs for the A and 4 outs for the 10 = 14% equity.

Sitting with a 20bb stack in early position, this is an auto fold. Our stack depth isn't big enough to maneuver post flop and make a better range of Jx combo fold or other hands that may have us dominated. As for post flop play, we brick the flop, any amount that we bet 1/2 pot or more is almost pot committing us, I would have check back/fold to any bets on the flop, turn or river. Please play at a full table of 9-Max 0.01/0.02 NLHE, if the table breaks up move to a full table, as your training is focused on this game format (full ring). This hand plays okay short handed, if we have top pair. But most times this hand doesn't flop to well, simply because of the connectivity between the A to 6. Your open raise is fine on the button. On the flop, I'd check behind for pot control and in the hopes of peeling the straight or hitting an A..if I am to bet I'd be basically charging myself to draw to about 14% equity which is -EV. Your 3rd Bank Roll Builder will be awarded to you within the next 24 hours! If there is anything that you would like to discuss before heading out to the real money games..let me know. CannonLee
