Hi AWS637, You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!umbup: The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session. Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about, using the hand replayer. Here's a short video on how to use the Hand Replayer

Hi AWS637! With KQs, I'll make a standard open-raise, which for me is to 3BB+1BB for each limper, so I will raise to 40. I get a call, min raise and 3 more calls. I'm going to call behind here and re-evaluate after the flop. I see the flop 6-way and I flop the 2nd nut flush. I now have an opp make an abnormally small bet (70 into a pot of 420). When it gets to me, I need to raise here. The reason for it is that if an opp has the Ah or two pair, I don't want them to get the correct odds to try to beat me. Since there are still 3 opps in the pot, I'm going to normally make a pot-sized raise here to 560... HOWEVER... this is over 1/2 my stack, which pot-commits me, so I'm going to SHOVE the flop. The same thing on the turn, with 3 opps in the hand, I need to make a 3/4 to pot-sized bet here (if I've got enough chips to do so). Any bet less than this will give the opps the correct odds to draw... and if I think I'm ahead, I always want to size my bets to give them a -EV call to draw (a call that they expect to lose chips each and every time from). The key with this hand is to not slowplay the 2nd nut flush, as I don't want to give the opps the correct odds to outdraw me. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

                      Hi AWS637!

Congrats on passing the quiz. Your first buy-in will be credited into your account within 24 hours. Remember you can earn up to a total of $8 with this promotion.

Use this first buy-in to then play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables only on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Don't worry if you lose this first buy-in as you will be able to earn another buy-in should this happen. It's always best to buy-into a table with the maximum that you can. That way, you can get paid more for your monster hands.

Use all that you have learned so far to try some real money games (1/2 cent tables). Post any hands that you have difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyse them for you.

Also, please attend the 'Bet Sizing' live training session. This session can be found daily in the Live Training section.

When you've done all this we will move you onto the next stage.

Should I of just checked preflop? Was calling his bet on the flop not a very good play even though I had a nut flush draw?

Should I of raised it in this spot pre flop? Not very smart to shove was it?
