Hi bugarin11, Don't worry about having to pass a quiz until asked to do so by one of the instructors. You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!umbup: The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session. Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about using the hand replayer. Here's a short video on how to use the Hand Replayer

Hi bugarin11, Thanks for that and I can confirm you did attend tonights class with Chris. Also thanks for posting the hand. I will ask one of the hand analysers to review this for you and offer some feedback. Once he does this we can continue on from there. Raiser umbup:

Hi bugarin11 You hand involves serveral of the topics that will be covered in your training, with bet sizing being the most important. Yes, you raised a bit heavy preflop, but this is actually fine here. You miss the flop and are facing 5 opponents. C-betting works best against one opponent. It's success rate decreases rapidly with each extra opp in the hand. I would have just checked this spot. More importantly, if you are going to c-bet, make it about 50% of the pot. Here there was 360 in the pot and you bet 60. This will actually hurt you because you are inviting everyone to continue with the hand by giving them a cheap chance to out draw you. Finally, you raised 60 preflop, 60 on the flop and 60 again on the turn into a pot of 600. A good player will recognize the same bet size and understand that you have a weak hand. A good player will then reraise you and give you the chance to fold or lose even more chips. Luckily, the remaining villain wasn't too good I think you can be happy that you didn't lose on this hand. Remember, we need to reevaluate our hand with respect to the flop and action from the other players. AK is a premium starting hand, but it is not a made hand. Even 22 is slighly ahead of it preflop. Post flop AK is strong when we connect with the flop, but be careful (willing to fold it) when we miss the flop. GL and have fun at the tables! Roland GTX
