    Cheers.

Hi, You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!umbup: The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session. Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL 9-max/ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about using the hand replayer. Here is a video tutorial on how to use the hand replayer.

        Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I haven't found a 'Getting Started' session that I'm able to attend due to the awkward time conversions. I will as soon as I can though and will start practicing whenever I get some time.

        Cheers.

Hi, So, I got some practice in and came across this hand of Q A off suit. I was confident and after the flop I had A pair. At this point, someone placed a heavy bet. I was sure they had also had an A pair and went all in because of hte Q kicker. Although I won the hand, I was a bit unsure if the call was the right choice. Would you have called in this situation? Cheers.

Hi, How are you doing? Have you been able to attend any of the Getting Started sessions? Also have you taken the Basic Assessment Quiz? What where your reads on the villains involved in the hand? With 130bb deep on the button and the raising action that occurred ahead of us, I'd raise it up to 30 or 40 chips. When the villain 4bets us, I'd 5bet jam all in to thin the field (only if my reads on the villains are leaning towards> *opens a wide range* very loose), In this situation flat calling invites other villains in to the pot which ultimately decreases our hand value and equity in the pot. On the flop after investing half of our stack pre-flop, I'm snap calling any bets that put me all in and re-raising all in any bets from the villains. With our stack size, multiway pot and pot size on this board texture it's a profitable play. There is certainly a wide range of dominated Ax that we can get value from. Good luck at the tables!

Hey, I'm good thanks, yourself? I have just attended the Getting Started and Bet Sizing live sessions which were quite interesting, especially the Bet Sizing one. I plan to do the Basic Assessment Quiz later today too. Previous to the A Q off hand I was definitely sensing the loose play. As you would know, there is nothing to lose on the play money table and people are more likely to take risks as they did prior to this hand. This was pretty much the basis on which I played. Thanks for your advice, it's really appreciated.umbup: I will post again once I complete the Quiz. Cheers
