Hi SvetaLop, You are eligible for the Bank Roll Builder promo!umbup: The next thing that you will need to do is to attend one of the 'Getting Started With Pokerstars' live training sessions. Please let me know after you have attended this session. Also, you can be practicing on the play money NL ring tables and please post a hand that you were not sure about using the hand replayer. Here's a short video on how to use the Hand Replayer

Hi SvetaLop, Yes, I can see you attended the 'Getting Started' session with 'GarethC23' , thanks for doing that. Also thanks for posting these hands for review. I'll ask one of the Hand Analysers to look at them for you and offer some feedback. He should do this later on tonight. I will then post back here tomorrow with your next step on your Bankroll Builder challenge. Raiser umbup:

Hi SvetaLop! The first thing that I'd recommend is to try the full ring tables instead of 6-max. When you earn the buy-ins for this promotion, they will only be able to be used at the full ring tables or you will be ineligible for any further buy-ins. Another thing that I do not want to do is to get into a hand when I sit down at a table before the BB. This just costs me an extra BB, which in the long run will be a drain on my bankroll. With 10's and a deep stack, I'm happy to call here to setmine. The flop brings a pair and an undercard, which is a good flop for me to lead bet with and I will size my bet at 1/2 pot (20). All of my bets on or after the flop will always be based on a % of the pot. This keeps my bets standard and will help to give the opps the wrong odds to draw to beat me. When my flop bet gets called and the board hits two pair on the turn, I'm going to check/fold here, as the opps that call my flop bet will normally have a Q or 3 and either of them now have my pocket 10's crushed. With AJs from the small blind, I'm not going to call here. Due to having to play the entire hand out of position, I'm going to raise to try and eliminate opps or fold. Calling from the SB is one of, if not the absolute largest, chip leak that most players have. Due to position, playing passively from the SB is just handing chips to the opponents. A raise in this situation due to a raise and callers, needs to be a pot-size raise, so if I'm going to play the hand, I'm raising to 95. When I hit top pair/marginal kicker, I need to make a lead bet, both for value and to get info from the oppeonents. Here again, if there were less opps in the hand, I'd bet 1/2 pot, BUT since there are possible straight and flush draws along with multiple opps in the hand, I really need to make a pot-sized bet here. Due to that, I'll bet 100. By betting less, I have no idea what the opps have, A, Q, draw, etc. The exact same thing on the turn. With this many draws and opps, I need to make another pot-sized bet on the turn to try and give the opps with draws a -EV play... unless I've raised preflop and made a pot-sized flop bet. Then I'd check for pot control. On the river, I'm either going to check and hope to get a cheap showdown OR make a small value bet of about 1/3 pot. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)
