Hi shambX, Yes, you are eligible and welcome to the Bankroll Builder. To get you started we'd like you to play some play money games (In the PokerStars lobby go to Hold'em > Play Money > No Limit) and using the Hand Replayer please post a hand that you have found difficult here in this thread. Doing this will ensure that you know how to use the hand replayer tool and if you've any questions on it just ask us. Also please attend one each of the 'Getting Started at PokerStars' and 'Bet Sizing' live training sessions. You'll find these sessions daily in the Live Training section. Please post back here when you have done both these things and we'll move you on to the next stage. Raiser umbup:

Hi shambX! With 99 in the BB, there are two ways that I can go about this hand. I can check and setmine (my preferred way unless a raise would get all but 1 or 2 of the opps to fold), OR I could make a standard raise, which is to 3BB+1BB for each limper. Since there are 5 limpers, I'd raise to 80. I want to keep all of my bets standard so that I keep the opps guessing as to the cards that Im playing. I see a very coordinated flop 4-way. There is a flush draw, overcard (that someone likely has) and a straight draw or even a made straight. With this board texture, even with a raise preflop, I'm going to check the flop as I'm most likely behind. Everyone checks behind and the turn makes the board scarier. Now, anyone with a 2 has me crushed. I'm going to check here again and fold to any opp's bet, as I'm most likely beat. If I did bet here, I'd want to make a standard bet of 1/2 the size of the pot. Any bet lower than this will give any opp drawing to anything (even two overcards that currently has ace high) would have the correct price to beat me. One thing that I don't want to do is to bloat the pot when I'm out of position and most likely not ahead in the hand. The river is another overcard, so now I'm beat by a pocket overpair (unlikely) or an A, 2, Q or 2 pair or clubs or 67. That's a large number of hands that have me crushed. Due to this, I'm going to check and hope to get to a cheap showdown. By making an abnormally small bet, the opp is going to call with anything that hits the board... and almost all of it crushes my 99. Due to this, I do not want to bet the river. Also, by making an abnormally small bet, this opens the door for the opp to make a large bluff at the pot and since there are a number of hands that has me beat, I could not call their bet and would therefore throw away the best hand... another thing that I do not want to have happen. Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

Hi shambX, Your first buy-in will be credited into your account within 24 hours. Use this first buy-in to then play ONLY the 1/2 cent full ring real money tables only on PokerStars. Playing any other game format will disqualify you from being able to obtain further buy-ins through this promotion. Post back here when you get your first buy-in and start playing these games, along with a hand that you had problems, or that cost you money, while playing with this buy-in. Also, please attend an 'Entering a Cash Game Pot' live training session. This should help too. Good luck! Raiser umbup:
