so I've been working ruddy hard just lately and think a good trip to Vegas or somewhere where I can buy into a poker tournament will be great. I'm not a high roller so will need something "affordable".
So here's my question. What do I search for to find a good all inclusive hotel and poker tournament?
Has anyone else been to a live event?

Poker tourneys aren't going to be included with a hotel stay.

I've gone to Vegas at least once/year for 20 years. They have all price level of tourneys, from $50-150 daily tourneys... to much, much larger buy-ins. I play many live tourneys (normally in the Midwestern US, where I live, along with Vegas) each year.

To see what the casinos offer, go to each of the casino's websites. Almost all of them list their tourney types, prices and structures.

Of all of the lower daily tourneys in Vegas, IMO, the $125 at Aria at 1pm or 7pm give the best value for your money, as the structure for them is something you normally only get in much higher buy-ins. They have lots of play in them as they are 10k starting stacks with 30 minute levels.

Ok thanks, it's knowing where to start. I was kind of stuck in the search loop.
Hopefully get a nice idea of what I'm looking for now,
