Cheese is enjoyed by over 98% of British households. Cheddar is a clear
favourite, accounting for over 57% of the market, and is bought regularly
      by 94°/, of households.

Information provided by The British Cheese Board.

An organisation dedicated to providing information about cheese - and also continuing the British tradition of having a punning name.

And what is 'over 98%'? other than 99% or 100%?

OK it will be a decimal I know.

But perhaps some of the 98% are buying cheese and NOT enjoying it?

      No that is crazy talk.

            For UK PSO'ers

            Here's a money saving tip:

If you like to nibble different types of cheese then buy this from the Cheese Counter at Tesco's

            (link not working) http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/

Type in "Counter Five Counties" in the search terms in Tesco's groceries.

Cheese is the Number 1 thing I miss having moved to Canada.

You can get 2 types of cheese here and both taste like rubber.

If you have a local Co-op close by, their own brand is probably the best I have tried since moving here It's either Market Town or Co-op Gold

I would never have believed Canada was a cheese free zone.

Deeply saddened to here of Grade b's dilemma - because processed rubbery cheese is not good.

Definitely a gap in the market there.

So any Canadians out there with lactating livestock - step up and make some cheese!

I have never seen this - but in the city centre we only have small/medium sized Metro/Express Tescos.

                          Their range doesn't include this.

                          Nice enough idea though.

'Layers of Derby,Red Leicester,Cheshire,Double Gloucester and Cheddar'

Next time I am out at the Tesco Extra in Corstorpine (where they sell everything - from cheese to bicycles) I will see if they have it. I don't shop off the internet but that is the obvious option.

If I find some I will give it a quality test.

I don't get this reference at all!

Nice picture of a plate of cheese & biscuits though.

I don't recognise the guy at all - the girl seems familiar - possibly Ms H off-of the telly?

Any further info / explanation appreciated.

I hate cheese itself since I find it too salty, but I love it combined with some eggs, bacon or pasta.
Also that pic is from the TV series How I met your mother, if you are not a TV nerd you will probably not get it.
