  • Going to Vegas!!

Hey everyone! I'm off to Vegas May 15th and wanted to know where are some good STT/MTT/SnG NLHE tables? Someone had mentioned the Aria. Now, I've been once before to Sin City but did not play any tables. Looking to get some experience playing live. Would appreciate any suggestions!
    Thx, BodhiLummox

    Hi BodhiLummox!

What price range are you looking at? Let me know and I'll gladly provide a few options for you to look into.

Thanks so much! I'm going down with about $250-$300 to play with. I'm going Wednesday to Monday, will only have time to play on thursday, friday and sunday if that makes a difference. Again, looking at getting some live experience which has been limited to small local casino that has a $50 buy-in on Sundays.
      Again, thanks!!

There is an $80 bounty tourney at 8pm at Harrah's ($20 of it is a bounty on everyone's head) that I've played before and is normally a softer tourney.

Aria has a $125 nightly tourney (normally gets about 90 players and is deeper stacked). That's a tougher tourney, but if you can get ITM, it's well worth it.

For a small morning tourney, I play the $50 one at Monte Carlo (I normally stay on the south end of the strip, so it's convenient). It's a much smaller tourney (normally 2 or maybe 3 tables, but pays out a higher % of places).

I've also played the afternoon tourney at Mirage, that was ok and I'd play again if it fit into my time schedule.

The tourneys that I did not care for were Luxor, Exaclibur and TI. Some were 12 player tables, others were rebuys that were worse than a 10 cent online rebuy... every hand was a bingo-shovefest.
