A threatening E-mail from Danny said that I must post on the forums to get the most out of poker school, so here I am. I have been playing on PS for about 4 years and have yet to make a deposit or go completely broke. I have mediocre skill and my biggest problems are that I am in general, too passive but overplay too many hands. I prefer limit which I was raised on, and detest no limit which I regard as a total crap shoot. Do you manage to get great cards but only haul in blinds, do you go card dead for months at a time, do you lose your 3bet push on AA to KK. These are all problems in no limit.
Ironically I finally checked out poker school to play more NLH since that is the only game most players seem to be aware of online. I joined October 20th and played a few open tourneys. Found myself in the 800's when I quickly realized that calls before the money were Russian roulette and one could fold to the theoretical cash point with no risk. Skill, I hardly think so. I then realized that there were not enough tourneys left in October to make a run for a larger prize so I stopped and thought I would apply myself in November. Imagine my surprise when 916th netted an invite to the Elite league where the players all overfold, the direct opposite of open league.
So that is my basic on line poker school story.
Hi to all. Good luck at the tables.

I don't remember sending anything threatening, but I do say that. ...maybe Kid Poker is the Danny? Thanks for the intro and welcome to the forum Grampex. umbup: You'll find a lot of threads in the forum on the best way to handle playing in the different leagues. Don't forget, if your month isn't going well in the Premier League, you can play the Qualifier League in an attempt to get back in the Premier League. Be sure to look through the Live Training tab and the archived Videos up top. Along with everything else, it will TRULY, help you get the most out of the School.
