just was on a table with one of the worst players i have ever seen Gijocpv he had over 300k of chips and was just pushing allin with nothing instead of playing poker he turned the table to allin and fold, now if he is a actual league player im shocked but tbh i dont understand why the games are open to anyone

They're freerolls, there's nothing to lose and a lot of players don't take them too seriously. That's always been the same with freerolls. Raiser umbup:

      ROFLMAO

      Welcome to "The 'O'" Donkkilla
Very new myself to the School; but my advice: get yerself to the 'P' asap!

The 'O' is brutal and hard on the stomach. I can't stand it! Only brought myself to participate in 35 this month, and hopefully my score will hold up (currently 466th with only the final tourney to report; haven't played for couple days but seem to lose only 12 or so ranks per no-show).

As it is called the 'OPEN' league, is open to anybody logged on to the PS client. I've seen several pleas here from players who would really like to play POKER here; but sadly it doesn't seem to be an option to forbid non-leaguers. This is unfortunate. Then again, several leaguers like to splash chips here too, because they're gunning for SHOOTER/TRICKERY prizes as opposed to league points prizes and so, they're often betting/raising/3-betting/check-raising just for the sake of doing so! (and given that there are a lot of leaguers playing super-tight at least until ITM - guilty is yours truly, here in the 'O' - such SHOOTING/TRICKERY actions can be quite successful)

But having played the 'PREMIER' in Feb, I can tell you it is a world of difference - and this is without doubt, the very design here at PSO. The 'P' is what it's really about, after all. Get there, and stay there. Fields ranging 150-400; start with 2500chips; only 4 tourneys per day; and much harder to score leaderboard points... AND very little if any 'advantage' to actually playing EVERY DANG tourney scheduled (just when exactly do several people sleep around here....

I'd recommend also as a newcomer, to join the PSO COMMUNITY HOMEGAMES and participate in the monthly series events. Varieties of poker at micro stakes, with good competition & great company - all mirrored with PLAYMONEY versions to same. And some not too shabby Series (and Yearly) Leaderboard prize bonuses offered within the REALMONEY component.

      Again, welcome to the party.
      Best of luck.
