  • Playing in My First Ever Premier League

Last month, November Open League I finished #606 and got lucky to qualify for the Premier this month. I tried my best but could only gather 146 Vpp, so just missed 150 VPP level.

Anyways I am preparing and improving my play daily. Working hard for 12+ hours. My goal is to reach Platinum status, and medium to high level stakes as well as reaching the top in premier. I'm preparing a lot of hours by pokerschool video training, and using pokercoach, holdem manager...

Let us see how I perform in the premier league this month..

As of now I played 3 and scored 1539, current position is #290.

Sorry to disappoint but if you finished only 606th in the open league it is not enough to qualify for Premier League. Unless they changed the rules and I missed it???

He did make it. He has played 4 tournaments in the Premier League already.
I think it's because so many Open League players don't meet the 20VPP requirement, so once they were all removed then he did qualify in the top 500.

Good luck for the rest of the month LastTricks.

        In the following page: http://www.pokerschoolonline.com/art...n_skill_league

        Example 5:

Player E plays in the Open League in August, earns 21 VPPs in August, and finishes in 528th place. Because only 490 of the members who finished in places 1 through 527 have earned the minimum 20 VPPs in August, Player E will receive an invitation for the September Premier League. Nine more invitations will be awarded to the next highest finishers who also earned the minimum 20 VPPs in August.
So maybe this is the reason I got lucky to qualify

Hey LastTricks, It sounds like you are working very hard at improving your game and this is great to hear. We can all rise above the bad beats and variance if we just try to improve and learn a little every day. Keep up the good work and I also wish you luck in the Premier League for December.
