  • Freeroll - $10 / 10,000 with $5.50 for 1st?

    Ok guys,

    Great site, great school...

    but it doesn't make sense.

    10,000 in freeroll for $10/ 1st gets 15.7% great!

But with 10,000 runners, 1st goes up to $5.50 and winners goes down...

$1.57 is enough for first / is 90 too few place to pay??

I don't know but final table should get more AND

either pay a few more or pay a bit more off the final table.

    Thanks all,

    Sean

Hi Sean. The formula for payouts that Stars uses gives any leftover money to the first place finisher. After 90 places the payouts would be less than one cent, so the rest of the money goes to first place. As EvokeNZ says, the monthly leaderboard is the place where the real money can be won. Promotion to the Premier League can also be earned through the monthly leaderboard. There the monthly prizes are bigger if you earn 150 VPPs in the previous month, and the smaller fields in the individual tournaments make tthe first prize much sma;;er.

        Good luck

          Freerolls

This month I'm going for the leader boards..

But me like a lot people at Pokerstars start with this freeroll, so a good structure is a good idea.
          Not a bad formula:

          Proposal:

          1st - $1.50
          2nd - $1.00
          3rd - .85
          4th - .70
          5th - .60
          6th - .50
          7th - .40
          8th - .33
          9th - .25

          This gives $6.13 to the final table, then .15 for 10-18 ($1.35), .10 for 19-27(0.90), .05, for 28-36(0.45)
          0.04 for 37-45, 0.03 for 46-54, 0.02 for 55-63 and 0.01 for 64-90.

Would make end game fun, and with 10cent Pokerstar tournaments, 'some' guys would roll 10cents into $$$ making a great story.

          Thanks Sean

Don't u understand? by playing this freeroll you acumulate points for the leaderboard at the end of the month and you can win alot of money. This is nothing you just don't understand. This money from the freeroll doesn't matter. Make 20 vpps and play 5 tourneys in a day if you can, then you'll see the results

              Freeroll money

HI im new here but, i dont see how anyone could think that the pay scale is a problem in the freeroll.
you are not paying to play, but can still make some money either by doing awesome in one tourney, or really well over a month of tourneys. Just my point of view though. Good Luck to all
