  • monthly game plan

    hi all.

rarely get the chance or the balls to post something up in the forum but as i sit here in a PSO event i got thinking to myself about a monthly game plan.

this is my first proper month in trying to go for the top spot and i'm thinking that the next month(probably august as it looks like i wont be active for next month), i will have a proper game plan lined up to make things a bit easier for myself.

this month has all been about trial and error since it's my first "taking it seriously" month so at the start of the month i was playing at least 4/5 tourneys a day, taking a few risks as we were all on about 1500 points and therefore a long time to make back a few early lost points.

managed to get as high as 1878 at one point this month and looking at the leaderboard i would still be in 5th place or so had i not played a single tourney in the last week. should i get into the same position in another month i will definitely be taking that week off and keeping an eye on my competitors.

but anyway i was just wondering of any others month plans, any or all comments will be appreciated.

    my rough plan would be
    1. start of month play a bit LAGgy unless you've got a tough table
    2. play quite frequently at the start to middle of month and surpass the 1750 mark
    3. after middle part of month start to play a max of 2 tourneys a day with a more TAGgy approach
    4. once over the 1800 mark start going for the tourneys with most entrants i.e the 2nd or 3rd tourneys each day.

sorry if i'm reposting and old post but sometimes it's easier that way.

thanks in advance and good luck for the final few days

    K
